For sure need a way to convert these lower tier drops into Charcoal or something because it's just useless late game, was taking up 400 of my wood storage and I didn't even realize it.

thing is @Primal Predactor, is that by the time you reach 100 Logging, you will surely have way better items than the ones you can use Petrified Wood to craft. It's insane and you've got to admit it...

I don't have a problem with rare mats on nodes... but by the time you've leveled over 100 for harvesting wood, collected luck gear, and managed to get 4 of these "tier 2" items... you can finally craft a tier 2 260 ilvl weapon that you've probably out leveled already. That's just for the base item too. It's not like your trying to push GS either. They definitely need to tune.

Primal Predator

It's not insanely rare, you have to understand how luck + gathering loot tables work. Same goes for all Fae Iron and the rest. Certain items require a minimum Trade Skill level along with a certain +luck amount. It's typically a 100k sided dice that's rolled, all +luck adds to your minimum roll. You normally need to roll a 95k+ to get a rare. Some items require over a 100k roll which means it's impossible to get without perks / consumables. You'll start getting them around lv90+ if you use trade skills. At 100+ they'll become lot more common.

Perdition

This material is insanely rare and can only be farmed with using a luck set and/or luck food. I had the 1400 luck food and +21% luck from armor and tools and got 1 petrified wood from skill 87 - 100.
