"Spectral Chests in Cutlass Keys now give 45-55 doubloons, up from 14 doubloons. They are also now a source of Goldcursed Coconuts."
afaik spectral chests are spawning after defeating the ghosts. ghosts spawn where the spectral ship is firing.
edit: i found spectral chests as sort of mini-event in the FFA zone, those events are called Endless Riches and are chests with a golden beam.

As of 2024-01-25 It does not drop with 100% chance anymore. People report it takes 5-10 tries to get one

When is the weekly reset? Is it 5/7 days from when you loot one or is it a specific day of the week?

Found in a PvP zone in a cursed hoard (the big chest).
Cursed hoard is basic , not locked or everything.
Just go in -> loot chest -> get out.
Also:
Doesn`t drop from your character after death ;3

I dont understand why should I use it to upgrade my artifact

You need to unequip the weapon you want to upgrade and have it unlocked in your inventory. Once I unequipped my item and went to the Well of Fortune, I saw the option to upgrade under "Apex Named Items."

Unable to upgrade artifacts to 725. It shows up under 'Unlearned'. Anybody knows why? Is it disabled.?
